Me llamo Alex Ayres y, a los 31 años, me diagnosticaron TDAH.
Siempre he pensado: “¿Por qué la gente no piensa como yo?”, “¿Por qué me cuesta hacer lo que hacen los demás?”, “¿Por qué me ha costado una puta hora escribir esta frase?”.

Pues ahora tengo la respuesta. Y la respuesta me ha dejado loco: TDAH.
Todo el mundo dice que lo tiene, vale, got it, pero yo literalmente lo tengo, y el show trata de cómo me ha jodido… y de cómo también me ha lanzado a descubrir quién soy.

El título explica bastante bien cómo me siento con el TDAH: ARDILLAS EN LA CABEZA.

ARDILLAS EN LA CABEZA es mi nuevo show de stand-up.
Si sabes quién soy, guay. Desde que me diagnosticaron con TDAH, he podido entenderme a mí mismo un poquito más. El show va un poco por ese hilo.

Soy inglés. No uso bien los acentos cuando escribo. Ñí úsó lá grámátícá bíén támpóco.

My name’s Alex Ayres, and when I was 31, I got diagnosed with ADHD.
I’ve always thought: “Why don’t people think like me?”, “Why is it so hard to do what everyone else does?”, “Why the fuck did it take me an hour to write this sentence?”

Well, now I’ve got the answer. And that answer blew my mind: ADHD.
Everyone says they’ve got it — yeah, sure, got it — but I actually have it.
And the show is about how it’s fucked me up… and also how it’s pushed me to figure out who I really am.

The title sums up pretty well how I feel about ADHD: SQUIRRELS IN THE HEAD.
