Biography
Adam Hopkins is a London-based comic from Leeds. He started doing comedy while living in Shanghai, China, and has gigged all across the world in cities such as Beijing, Tokyo, Barcelona, Paris, Bangkok, Bucharest, Hong Kong, Guatemala City and even Wuhan. His comedy special Taipei, filmed at Two Three Comedy in Taipei, Taiwan, is available now on YouTube.
Seen/heard in and on BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio Scotland, VICE, Time Out, SPORTbible and more, Hopkins opened for Kyle Kinane four four nights on Kinane’s 2025 UK tour and has also opened for the likes of Mike Vecchione and Dean Edwards.
He was previously nominated for the BBC New Comedy Award, was selected for Leicester Comedy Festival Circuit Breakers, won Reading Indie Comedy Festival New Comedian of the Year, and was a finalist in the UK Chinese Comedy Competition (performing in Mandarin).
