Biography
One of Canada’s top comedic talents, Alistair first appeared in the national spotlight when he won CBC’s Next Up Competition at age 23. Since then, he’s brought his trademark hilarious self-deprecating storytelling to televised sets for Canada’s Got Talent, the Halifax Comedy Festival, and CBC’s New Wave of Stand Up. In 2024 he released his debut special, Alistair Ogden Does His Best, then in 2025 he was named one of Just For Laughs: New Faces, sold out shows at JFL Vancouver and Toronto, recorded a set for Don’t Tell Comedy, and opened for Pete Holmes at Toronto’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre. His jokes have been featured on CBC Radio’s Laugh Out Loud, a Just For Laughs Originals comedy album, and have amassed over 30 million views and rising across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
