Biography
André de Freitas, originally from Portugal, is a critically acclaimed stand-up comedian known for his international appeal.
With over 50 million views online and having performed across Europe, Australia – where he won “Best International New Act” during the Melbourne Comedy Festival in 2023 and all across US, including the Comedy Store in Los Angeles and Skankfest Festival in Las Vegas.
He’s opened for comedy icons such as Jim Gaffigan, Jim Jefferies, Alan Carr, Russell Peters, TJ Miller, Iliza Schlesinger, and Sam Jay.
His debut hour, What If, earned rave reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with The Sunday Express giving it 5 stars saying “Leaves them howling with laughter” and The Telegraph calling him a “Combination of quirkiness and intelligence”.
