Biography.
Texan Ashley Barnhill is a stand-up comic, filmmaker, writer and actress. Subversively dark and mean, Ashley is a skilled writer with unnervingly biting delivery. She tours worldwide with Dave Chappelle and his touring show with John Mayer and also with Joe Rogan. You’ve seen her on Roast Battle, Maron and Drunk History narrating the story of the late Muhammad Ali. She was a writer on TBS’ Drop the Mic. Ashley is currently a participant in Viacom’s Emerging Directors Program. She has written, directed, edited and acted in many of her own festival-winning short films. You can see Ashley on HBO as a Top 10 Finalist in Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s docu-series Project Greenlight for directors. You can also catch her in director Jason Reitman’s Sundance short film. And she has a law degree. Oh yeah, and she also has a new titanium-plated skull.
