Carl started performing stand-up regularly in early 2005 and quickly established himself as one of the most exciting new comics currently climbing the comedy ladder.
Despite being a relative newcomer, his confident, conversational style and silly sense of humour has seen him win a host of awards and become a regular act and MC at clubs all over the country.

Carl has also appeared on various TV shows including Mock The WeekDave’s One Night StandStand Up for the WeekRussell Howard’s Good News and Stand Up CentralAlan Davies: As Yet Untitled, Follow The FootballFootball Tonight and Comedy Store. He is also a regular on radio appearing as a guest on such shows as BBC 5live’s The Back End of Next Week, Radio 4’s Loose Ends and Act Your Age as well as being a regular guest on talkSPORT. He has also co-hosted a radio show for the Fubar Radio app after his acclaimed podcast which he recorded with Chris Martin.

In late 2018, Carl and fellow comedian Julian Deane started the podcast Two Vegan Idiots which is soon to be followed by live dates across 2019.
