Fathiya Saleh is a rising star in the comedy scene, who has been described, by chortle as “an absolute delight”.
Born and raised in North West London to a Somali mother and Yemeni father, Saleh offers her own perspective on topics, exploring identity, family, the absurdities of everyday life and what it’s like being a Muslim girly navigating the world.
Saleh is cheeky, charming and relatable with a bite! Offering performances that are characterized by her infectious energy, engaging stage presence, and captivating audiences with her genuine humor and lovable personality. She has performed at Latitude festival, on TV and at the BBC Asian Network Comedy night and performed across the UK as well as abroad in Sweden, Saudi Arabia, New York and Egypt.
Saleh was a Funny women finalist in 2022 and was also listed in Dua Lipa’s ‘Service 95’ magazine as one of “5 new faces to know bringing a fresh perspective to the comedy scene”, making her a voice to watch.
