Biography
Geoff Schumann is known by many as one of the leading African Caribbean comedians in Britain. The former comprehensive school teacher and qualified youth worker has smoothly moved from one public arena to another. Geoff, a trained humanities school teacher and qualified youth work trainer. Geoff taught in the London Boroughs of Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham. Brent and Lambeth for 7 years. Geoff also taught media studies for a year in an adult education college. After a spell of teaching in Africa and the Caribbean he was a visiting lecturer to Reading University, Schumann then began to pursue a career in the media and stand up comedy.
