Born in 1983 and raised in Glasgow, James is blessed with the quick-wit and rapid-fire delivery his home city is famous for, leaving audiences in stitches with his high-energy style and straight-talking observations.
His journey to the stage has been interesting with a number of different jobs spanning two decades which has seen James work as a DJ, TV producer, TV presenter, double-glazing salesman and even a footballer.
The middle child of three, James also grew up as a caregiver for his older brother Alexander who has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and is non-verbal.
