Jordan Brookes

Comedian Profile

JORDAN BROOKES is a critically acclaimed comedian, writer and actor.

His third solo hour of high wire stand-up and absurdism, Body of Work, earned him a nomination for Best Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2017. The show started out at a Free Festival venue before transferring to the Pleasance Courtyard to become a plauded word-of-mouth success story of the festival. The Guardian described the show as “wildly entertaining stand-up that demolishes the conventions of comedy”.

Jordan’s latest show, Bleed, received a number of 4 and 5 star reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe festival this year and runs at the Soho Theatre 25 October – 10 November.

For TV, he has recently appeared on Stand Up at BBC Wales, as an actor in Kiri Pritchard-Mclean’s Sky Comedy Halloween short and is developing a number of original scripted and non-scripted projects.
