Described by Rob Brydon as a ‘remarkable new talent’ and by Jon Culshaw as ‘absolutely superb’, Josh Berry is fast achieving worldwide recognition for his impressions. He is now doing a nationwide standup show which has been described by The Evening Standard as ‘pitch perfect’.
In 2018 he performed on multiple episodes for Dead Ringers (BBCR4) and Newsjack (BBCR4Xtra), voicing a sketch on Tracey Ullman’s hit BBC1 show Tracey Breaks the News and taken his debut show, Voice Thief, to the Edinburgh festival with a huge number of sell-out performances. He’s also performed on multiple episodes of The Now Show.
Josh was invited onto BBC Five Live Radio and ESPN television coverage of Wimbledon and has since recorded a variety of impressions clips with Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Nick Kyrgios.
He returned to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019 with his latest show “Josh Berry: Who Does He Think He Is?”. Just like his 2018 show, it had a highly successful run. Josh did a limited sold out run with the Fringe in 2022.
Josh is currently starring in his self-written series, Josh Berry’s Fake News Podcast, produced by Union Jack Radio, available to listen on Spotify. It was nominated for a British Podcast award in 2020 and has more recently been nominated for Best Comedy Podcast in Channel 4 National Comedy Awards alongside The Adam Buxton Podcast and Off Menu.
He has recently interviewed Louis Theroux in front of a sold out crowd at the Shoreditch Town Hall.
