In 2020, Macshane brought his freestyle rapping into the world of comedy, performing guest spots around Perth where he fused audience suggestions with his lightning-fast wit, improvisational skills, and razor-sharp riffing, creating hilarious off-the-cuff rap performances. A chance encounter with Perth comic and fellow freestyle rapper Daniel Delby sparked an instant creative connection, leading to the birth of an interactive freestyle comedy rap game show – Whose Rhymerom 2021 to the present, Whose Rhyme has captivated thousands across Australia and internationally, gaining a cult following for its high-energy interactivity and improvised rap challenges.

The show cleverly combines Delby’s comedic prowess with Macshane’s frenzied freestyle skills, offering a fresh, dynamic experience. Its versatile format has graced the main stages of festivals, headlined comedy clubs, sold out Fringe World shows and become a sought-after choice for private, corporate, government, and children’s events.

After a standout debut at Perth’s Fringe World Festival in 2021, Whose Rhyme has continued to impress with highly acclaimed 2022, 2023, and 2024 seasons, culminating in an international tour that included performances at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and comedy events in Innsbruck and Kitzbühel, Austria.
