Biography
Nigel Ng is a Malaysian standup comedian and content creator based in the UK. In July 2020, he went viral globally from his portrayal of “Uncle Roger”, a middle-aged Asian man reviewing an egg fried rice video. He has now amassed 70 million views on his youtube channel and a combined following of over 3 million across his social media platforms.
In terms of standup, Nigel was nominated for the prestigious Best Newcomer Award for his sold-out show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2019, and then followed that up with another sold out week-long run at London’s Soho Theatre in 2020. He made his TV debut in 2018 on Comedy Central’s Stand Up Central, shortly followed by Comedy Central’s Roast Battle, BBC Two’s Mock The Week, just to name a few. He has been featured on Variety, CNN, BBC, the Guardian, SBS (Korea) and South China Morning Post (Hong Kong).
Nigel also hosts Rice To Meet You, a hugely popular comedy podcast.
