Red Richardson is one of the most exciting new stand up comedians on the UK circuit, after appearing in the final of the prestigious ‘So You Think You Are Funny?’ competition he has gone on to become a regular fixture in Britains top comedy clubs, where his “Delightfully Sardonic” comedy (Ed Fest Mag) – has been a huge hit with audiences.
As an actor he has appeared in “The Comic Strip Presents….RED TOP” on UK Gold and is a regular joke writer for ‘8 out of Ten Cats’, ‘8 out of Ten Cats does Countdown’ and ‘Live at The Comedy Store’ on Comedy Central. In 2018 Red spent two invaluable months working with British comedy legend, John Cleese and supported Bobby Mair on 25 dates of his UK tour. Red is currently preparing to take his second hour up to Edinburgh in 2020 and is also developing a sitcom.
His 2018 Edinburgh debut “Seeing Red” garnered four star reviews from critics and played to packed houses at The Gilded Balloon. Outside of the UK Red had a residency of his solo show in Tallin, Estonia and gigs regularly around Europe, he recently performed to troops on a tour of army bases in Cyprus.
