Biography
Shaz Memon is a Dutch-Pakistani stand-up comedian based in Amsterdam, known for his sharp crowd work, chaotic storytelling, and cross-cultural observations on identity, immigration, race, and modern city life. Born and raised in Pakistan, Shaz later moved to Australia to study before eventually settling in the Netherlands, giving him a unique global perspective that heavily shapes his comedy.
Shaz has quickly become one of the fastest-rising voices on the European English-language comedy circuit. In 2025, he won both the Jury and Audience Awards at the English Comedy Talent Award at the Utrecht International Comedy Festival, establishing himself as a breakout new act. Since then, he has become a regular at some of Amsterdam’s top comedy clubs, while also performing internationally in cities including Dublin, Edinburgh, London, Austin, and Stockholm.
Known for his unmistakable stage presence, sharp suits, and signature handlebar mustache — now famously named “Sabrina”(previously, ‘Jessica’) following his appearance on Kill Tony Episode #769 (video here)
