Known to many for her hilarious YouTube comedy skits which have become viral and made her a household name. All topics are fair game for this comic diva who gave up her career in Law to pursue stand-up comedy full time. Don’t let her sexiness and serious face fool you, it is the total opposite of the rubbish that will come out of her mouth, from her sex life to poking fun at comic relief. In the first year of her comedy career Thenjiwe made a big impression on the comedy circuit, reaching the final of five major new talent competitions including the Funny Women Award Final, held at the Leicester Square Theatre. Thenjiwe was forced to drop out of some competitions after being spotted by a promoter who signed her for a tour. Since then, she has gone from strength to strength performing at top comedy venues including performing at the Berlin Film Festival and doing corporate events including MCing at the African Union in Belgium and the Department of Trade and Industry in Pretoria (SA) as well as stunning audiences in places as far as Brazzaville and Germany.
Thenjiwe is currently performing both in Europe and in South Africa, where she delights audiences with recollections of her South African background and life as a lawyer in London.
Thenjiwe has also made a name for herself as an actress in award winning movies such as Angel, Liputsa Lami, Family puzzle, Da Brazzaville `a Johannesburg and many more.
