Biography
Toby Tarrant has been charming the nation for over 10 years now, currently taking charge of the mid-morning slot on national radio station Radio X.
His daily 10am-1pm slot has well over a million weekly listeners, and when a certain Chris Moyles is on holiday, Toby steps in and is let loose on the Radio X Breakfast Show, as well as doing the same for Johnny Vaughn on drive-time.
It was only a matter of time before the comedy world came knocking, leading to Toby’s latest stand-up venture, ‘Utter Bloke Nonsense’, which he is currently taking around the UK including Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August.
Toby also gets to combine comedy with his first love, cricket, as host of the hit cricket podcast ‘Zero Ducks Given’ alongside cricketing legends Steven Finn and Dan Norcross. The show gives a hilarious look at the world of cricket – less about the stats, much more about the stories.
Credits
A TV game-show hates to see Toby coming, after he won both BBC 2’s House of Games and Pointless Celebrities (twice!) and was a contestant on ITV’s The 1% Club SoccerAid for UNICEF Special. The latter coming about following his involvement with the SoccerAid event, creating content with football legends and celebrities. When he isn’t in the studio or watching his beloved Liverpool FC, Toby can be often found, hosting annual award shows or reporting from the red carpet.
