Despite having a last name that mathematically represents only part of a whole, there is nothing missing from Vanessa Fraction’s comedy. A talented writer and charismatic performer, the elegant but unafraid Fraction has found great success since she emerged on the comedy scene in 2001. Whether sharing her stories of parenting gone bad or how every man should have an “At Least.” Vanessa captivates audiences with her hilarious and refreshing brand of “tell it like it is comedy” gaining fans in the United States, and abroad. Her performances have been featured on such shows as Mike Epps Live at Club Nokia, Martin Lawrence’s 1st Amendment Standup, & Russell Simmons’ Def Comedy Jam, Fraction has been featured at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival and has been a finalist for NBC’s Standup for Diversity Showcase. In 2010, after performing on the first season of BET’s, The Mo’Nique Show. Fraction’s performance was so well received she was brought on as a staff writer for the show’s second season. Currently Vanessa serves as Comedy Writer for BET’s hit show 106 & Park and most recently filmed a standup set for Nick Jr’s new show “Nick Mom Night Out.”
