- Arab. Muslim. Brummy. 'Deliciously funny' (Guardian) Hasan Al-Habib's Edinburgh Fringe debut show “Death to the West (Midlands)”, about growing up Iraqi in Birmingham during the second gulf war, sold out its entire run and six extra dates.
He returns with a WIP of his new show, possibly called “Knowing me, not knowing you”.
His agent told him it needs to be more relatable for White British people, so it’s all about growing up as a child of divorce.
25% of artist’s proceeds will go to the charity Medical Aid for Palestinians.
'Al-Habib will be famous' (Rolling Stone).
'Edgy and silly in exactly the right balance' (Sara Pascoe).
This show is low cost but you can make a voluntary donation at the end of show if you enjoyed it and wish to contribute to the comic and the venue to support us and live comedy.
Please Note:
Latecomers may not be permitted. Please arrive before the show start time.
This show is organised by the performer and/or individual promoters. The performers and content of this show is independent from the Top Secret Comedy mixed bill shows at 8pm on weekdays and our Afternoon, Early, Late and Late Late Shows on weekends.
