Biography.
Irene Meneguzzi is a Barcelona-based stand-up comedian from Argentina. Her comedy career started in 2019 in Barcelona, where she quickly became a local favourite in the Spanish and English comedy scenes. She has performed at the Cruïlla Comedy Festival in Barcelona (2020), brought her comedy to Ibiza as part of the Lust for Laughs Stand Up Show at the legendary Pikes Hotel, and went on to perform at the most renowned comedy clubs in Madrid (El Golfo Comedy Club), Prague (London Underground), Buenos Aires (Paseo La Plaza) and London (Vauxhall Comedy Club, Camden Comedy Club and Top Secret Comedy Club). A semifinalist at the 2022 Funny Women Competition, she has been featured in Spanish and Romanian national television, and she was one of the opening acts at the XII International Stand-Up Comedy Festival in Belgrade (October 2022). With a strong stage presence and cutting sense of humor, she analyses her failed relationships, midlife crisis and general basicness.
