Biography
Jake started stand-up after gaining a following on Twitter under the pseudonym @LittleLostLad. He then decided to put down his iPhone and pick up a microphone. It has proven to be a great choice with him, making it to the semi-finals of the BBC New comedy Award within 6 months of his first gig, allowing him to perform on both BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio 2.
His joke writing has led him to write for such shows as 8 Out of 10 Cats, BBC’S Mock The Week, and E4’s Virtually Famous.
Jake has gone on to receive a plethora of nominations including The Magners New Comedian of the Year 2015, and the prestigious Leicester Mercury New Act of the Year 2015.
He also made it to the final of the English Comedian of the Year and the Amused Moose Laugh Off Final, 2016.
In 2017 Jake supported Seann Walsh on his One For The Road tour, and Rob Beckett on his Mouth of The South tour.
