Biography
Maddy Anholt was an incredible comedy actress and scriptwrite who sadly passed away in 2024. Maddy was an actor, comedian and appeared in numerous shows. She published ‘How to escape your psychopath: The essential handbook for escaping a toxic relationship’. She then became an ambassador for Women’s Aid. Last year she was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer.
.She trained at ALRA alongside the likes of Miranda Hart and Bridget Christie. The daughter of children’s authors and illustrators, Catherine and Laurence Anholt, twin to painter Tom Anholt and with an older sister at the UN.
She performed with BBC Radio Comedy, BBC at the Fringe, The Pleasance, The Gilded Balloon, Leicester Square Theatre, is a regular comedy guest on TalkSPORT and Fubar Radio. She has been featured in The Guardian, The Telegraph, Daily Mail, Daily Star, The Metro, OK Magazine, on Channel 5, London Live and on BBC Three
